Hi, I'm Teacher Monique — a Korean language teacher with over a decade of experience across all levels and ages.

Teaching Experience

  • Hangul reading, writing, and pronunciation for foreign children

Teaching Approach

  • All Korean lessons are conducted in Korean. This immersive approach helps students think and feel in Korean naturally.
  • Beginners: Conversation-focused using Sejong Institute materials
  • Intermediate/Advanced: Sino-Korean (Hanja) and TOPIK Level 6 writing preparation
  • Children: Phonics and literacy in a natural, immersive style

Teacher Monique is known for her academic and in-depth approach to language teaching. Rather than surface-level conversation practice, she digs deep into the structure, nuance, and cultural roots of language — what her students affectionately call a "language otaku" style.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

If you need to reschedule, please let us know before your previous lesson and we will be happy to find a new time for you at no charge.

If cancellation is not possible more than 4 days before the lesson, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund. We appreciate your understanding.
